Question Newbie

Recently found this site and love it! Thanks to those that operate/update it and to those that contribute to it.

I live in CO but will soon be changing that to NE and need some help-
I'm taking two of my girls (10 & 12) out to Big Mac tomorrow through Wed and have only fished the lake once yrs ago.

Any general info. you guys can help with without giving up your best kept secrets to the world will be GREATLY appreciated!

We will putting in likely off the Lemoyne ramp (I think there is open camping right nearby?) with an old beater 16' (90 hp) aluminum and the winds don't look too bad to keep me from traveling a bit without issues so???

I'm a lifelong fisherman and cold-water/warm-water fanatic ( I like it all) and the girls are pretty accomplished for their ages @ casting/landing fish.
Hoping to get into WIPER/Walleye/Whites so any/all tips/info would be helpfull.

Thanks!!
