Default Omaha Beach

Is the water level close to the old Omaha Beach boat ramp? If anyone has any pictures of Omaha Beach area please post. I use to launch from there in the late 90's catfishing. Thanks all.

I dont think its there yet. I just recently cut some fire wood there and the water is still a ways out and starting to go down a bit.

A guy was launching from the Omaha Beach ramp this past weekend. There is no dock there, and you have to navigate a lot of standing trees to get to open water.

Yes, I launched from up there on the 3rd of July, but only a small Jon boat. The water was full of a lot of debris and you had to push through it to get to the open water. Considering the crowds for the holiday, it was worth it, however and all I had to do is rinse off the trailer and boat.
